• 1 cabbage (finely diced)
  • 250g mixed seafood
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 150ml water
  • 100ml dashi
  • Japanese mayonese
  • okonomiyaki sauce
  • 12 pieces bacon
  • 1-2 tablespoon aonori
  • 1-2 tablespoon katsuobushi
  • oil


Step 1
In a bowl combine the flour with salt and pepper. Add dashi and whisk well. Set aside and finely dice the cabbage.
Step 2
Add the eggs and seafood to the bowl. Mix all these ingredients well and stir in the cabbage.
Step 3
In a frying pan heat the oil on medium heat and scoop one portion of the batter. Do not flatten the mixture too much as it might break when you turn it over.
Step 4
Place 2-3 pieces of the bacon on top of Okonomiyaki and cook for about 5 minutes.
Step 5
When the bottom side is getting brown, turn it over and cook for additional 5 minutes.
Step 6
You are almost ready! Apply the Okonomi sauce and Japanese mayonnaise, and sprinkle the aunori and the katsuobushi on top! Itadakimasu!
